Nursery Inspiration - How to have a Nursery like Prince Louis
For members of the Royal family, 'Dragons of Walton Street' is the go to place for exquisite hand decorated nursery furniture. So much so that both Harry and Wills, had their nursery decorated in pieces from this luxury brand ...and it looks as though prince louis will be following suit.
This gorgeous brand's moto is to 'inspire children dreams' and it certainly does that with inspiration taken from Beatrix Potter, Paddington bear and the flower fairies (of which they have exclusive hand painted licensees). Dragons started with just a hand painted table and rush seat chair set but now it has grown to encompass all types of elegant children furniture - moses baskets, cots, desks, painted murals and unique accessories.
The business, based in South Kensington, was originally set up by Rosie Fisher is now run by her daughter, mother-of-two Lucinda Croft: With incredibly elite clients such as the Viscountess Weymouth of Longleat , Samantha Cameron and Royals Princes William and Harry and Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice it just goes to show that you are in good company if you choose to shop here.
The best of Dragons
Hand Painted Height stick
As for my favourite designs, I was completely in awe of this gorgeous height stick. Launched in the autumn of 2014, the Dragons Height Stick is proving a fun new addition to any playroom or bedroom. It is complete with Dragons artwork and the ability to adjust the measurements should you wish to stand it on a skirting board (or not if you can sit it directly on the ground). The intricate drawings of the animals are so gorgeous that I spent a good ten minutes studying each of them! You can really see the love and thought that went ito every brush stroke!
You can choose from any of the full dragons art work so you can tailor the height stick to your child. And the best bit? It can also be handy painted with your child name!

Hand painted rush chair
DRAGON'S rush-seat chairs have been a best-seller for over 30 years, and whilst you may not be alone in your admiration, rest assured you can make each one as individual as your child. Due to the range of inspirational artwork you can tailor it completely to your childs's own need and loves.
Rupert has loved Paddington Bear since birth so we were overjoyed when one of Rupert's Godparents bought it for him as a Christening present. What more, it was also hand painted with his name making it even more special! I was also thrilled to hear that you can buy a matching table which I will defiantly be adding to Rupert's Christmas list next year!
Having agonised about Rupert's nursery and how I want it to look, I can safely say that Dragons of Walton Street have reminded me what a child's bedroom really should be like - a little space for a little bit of magic
