Birthday Letters to my Baby - a luxury keepsake
Having a baby is probably one of the biggest milestone you will ever have in your life - and I was determined to document every single part of it. Which is why, when I came across 'birthday letters to my baby,' I instantly fell in love.
This gorgeous keepsake is perfect for parents who want to save all of those precious memories in one place - and the best bit -i t can be handed over to your baby on their 18th birthday as an incredibly memorable birthday gift.
So how does it work? Every year (from the day of your baby's birth) you write a little letter to your baby, right up until they turn 18, meaning you can treasure the most precious memories of your baby, to share with them in years to come. Birthday Letters to my Baby is designed to give parents a beautiful and timeless way to write and keep letters for their child.
And for those of you who shudder at the thought 'being creative' there are some wonderful 'memory triggers' within the book that enable you to write down all those special moments that you might otherwise forget. From the little things you baby learnt each year, to what the weather was like on the day they were born, you can document everything about your baby from day one. For every year there are five pages for you to write your own letter, followed by some 'memory triggers' and then finally a blank page for you to fill with whatever you wish -this could be for photos, a drawing your child did or a funny 'phrase' or word your baby used that year!
I must admit, on the day this book arrived in the post (just one week before Rupert was born) I was already an emotional hormonal mess. As soon as I opened up the first page (which is where I would write down all the details of his birth) I was in floods of tears (happy ones at that!) due to the fact I knew that this book was not only going to be hugely special to our baby, but also incredibly emotional for me and Patrick. The thought of sitting down every year on Rupert's birthday and writing down all of his achievements, funny sayings and proudest moments turned me into a huge blubbering mess. It was the idea of handing it over to Rupert on his 18th birthday and going through all of those 18 years of memories that makes it the most incredible baby keepsake I have ever come across.
If you love this gorgeous little book as much as I do then you can get yourself one here.
