Rachel Riley: The woman who dresses the Mini Royals
Rachel Riley is, without a doubt, a name on Kate Middleton's lips (especially now that baby Royal number 3 is due!) Since Prince George was photographed wearing the label’s dungarees on the royal tour of New Zealand in 2014, Rachel Riley's baby clothes have fast become a 'must have' for mummies wanting to dress their little ones like royalty.
So jumping on the bandwagon, I started lusting over Rachel's gorgeous timeless baby grows and fell in love with this Peter Pan Collared Teddy Bear print.
One of the things I freely admit is that I like babies to look like.....babies. If I could dress Rupert in Babygrows every day I would, which is why this cute design plucked at my heart strings. Although it is just gorgeous worn at bedtime, I must admit that I have also taken Rupert out to numerous baby classes sporting this little outfit....and it always gets such wonderful comments from other mummies. I think it's because of its timeless elegance - the collar, the quality of the material and the baby-esque teddy bear print make Rupert look like the cutest version of himself possible!
Rachel's shop in Knightsbridge is a must visit for any new mummy. It's the sort of place that you walk into and feel as if you have been transported into an oasis of gorgeous baby clothes. Despite having quite a traditional look to her designs Rachel has been quoted as saying one of the things people love is that "They’re not going to date in photos in years to come.”
